Outdoor DC UPS Backup Power
Rugged, weatherproof battery backup for outdoor cameras and wireless equipment. The site stays online when the power does not.

Everything in one box.
Batteries, PoE injectors and converters, charging and the other electronics all sit inside one weatherproof enclosure, protected from the elements and from tampering. An industrial charger takes 110 or 220 VAC, the battery bank powers the equipment full time, and when the mains drop the cameras never notice.
Light poles on timers, unreliable feeds and sites that cannot afford a dark camera are where it goes. One person installs it in minutes.
- Up to 11 days of backup when using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries
- PoE ports and DC terminals pre-configured for the equipment you specify
- Optional solar input for longer runtime and less grid dependence
Built for reliability.
Weather resistant
IP65-rated enclosure protects the electronics from rain, dust and temperature extremes, -40°F to 140°F.
Sealed battery bank
Deep-cycle AGM or LiFePO4 batteries give reliable backup with minimal maintenance.
Solar compatible
Add solar panels and an MPPT controller for extended runtime at remote sites.
PoE output
Power over Ethernet ports deliver power and data over a single cable to each camera or radio.
Remote management
Monitor battery status and power draw, and receive alerts, over cellular or the network.
Scalable capacity
Configured from 100 Ah to 600 Ah and beyond to match your equipment's draw and runtime.

Where it goes to work.
IP camera systems
Keep PoE cameras recording through outages and on poles with timed or unreliable power.
Wireless networks
Point-to-point links, access points and radios stay up when the feed goes down.
Remote monitoring
Environmental sensors, gate controls and SCADA equipment at sites without dependable grid power.
Temporary installations
Construction sites, events and deployments where permanent power is not in place yet.
Good to know.
Do I need an electrician?
The charger plugs into 110 or 220 VAC. If the pole runs on 277 V or 480 V, an electrician must install a step-down transformer first. Always get the pole owner's permission before installing equipment.
What does the backup time depend on?
The battery capacity you choose and the draw of the equipment you connect. Tell us the cameras and radios and we size the bank for the runtime you need; LiFePO4 batteries give the longest backup.
Can it power my cameras directly?
Yes. PoE injectors or DC terminals are pre-configured for the equipment you specify, so the cameras and radios plug straight in.
Is there a configurator for this product?
Not yet. Contact us with the equipment you need to keep online and we will quote the right UPS the same day.
Keep the site online.
Tell us what needs to stay powered and a Vorp Energy rep will size and quote the right backup system.
